THE JAZZ EXCHANGE is a mission driven organization that is committed to building communities through music. The JAZZ Exchange is a minority led organization that has gained recognition in the Tri-State area and internationally. The purpose of this organization is not only to create performance opportunities for musicians but also to connect with audiences around the world, cultivate and flourish youth development through music education, exposing our diverse communities to the public through video and audio. The Jazz Exchanges maintains the efforts to support our youth, artists, and music educators through virtual and online platforms that will continue to sustain the jazz community.
Jazz House Kids

JAZZ HOUSE KiDS is the only community arts organization in New Jersey exclusively dedicated to educating children through jazz: America’s home-grown art form. In the schools, at the Jazz House, and in our community, we give students an artistic edge – music, mentoring, education, and leadership at work. Jazz House Kids provides inspiring, professional jazz music instruction and education to children from all backgrounds, raising their motivation and academic performance to build a vibrant community & a robust future for America’s home-grown music.

The University's Summer Jazz Workshop, active since 1994, is a week-long intensive program in late July, featuring classes, small-group rehearsals and performances, and clinics taught by William Paterson resident faculty and special guest clinicians.

JAZZUV is a study center of the Universidad Veracruzana for the education, diffusion and promotion of jazz. It was born in 2008 as a sociocultural movement that involves the various actors that converge in the jazz field. Musicians, researchers, teachers, students, educational authorities, businessmen, managers, music critics and the general public, all lovers of jazz, find in Jazzuv a space of possibilities for interaction and creativity.

The NJAJE meets this ongoing challenge in its presentation of a variety of educational activities, presentations, and opportunities including regional and all-state jazz and jazz choir ensembles, small jazz combo festivals, one-on-one educational opportunities, and much more.
